  I have witnessed Rich and Gina love and care for this community over the many years that I have known them. I have observed them seeking to be obedient to God's direction for their lives and see them strive to have a heart molded and guided by Gods word. We live in a troubled, fallen world and Rich & Gena are not naive to the persecution that comes to those that believe in Jesus, even so the unfair negative comments in Google reviews could cause someone seeking spiritual help or seeking a church home to be unnecessarily discouraged. Jesus paid the ultimate price for all of us, even those that are attempting to do harm in a public forum. I encourage you to join me in praying for and encouraging all of our pastors and their families that serve our communities.

  Pastor Rich is a truth speaker and man of God, the congregation is welcoming and kind, this church has helped me become baptized and born again in Christ! Praise the Lord

  I had the privilege and honor of serving as pastor of youth ministry at Bethel for three and a half years. Over that time I saw great progress and growth in this church, but not because of me, it was because of what God is doing in His people at this church. The senior pastor Rich and the rest of the leadership are prayerfully and thoughtfully guiding this church toward Christ-likeness, and the congregation is a loving, welcoming group. If you want a bible-believing, serving, and genuine church to join in Washougal, that would be Bethel Community Church. Though I am elsewhere now, I am excited to see where God is taking this church next and how He continues to use Bethel to bring the hope of Christ to Washougal.

  A huge Thank You to Bethel Church and their loving and caring staff. My mother recently passed away and we were in need of a larger church than we attended on very quick notice to have her memorial service. They were so gracious and supportive. The memorial was beautiful. I cannot thank them enough for their help and comfort in such a difficult time. What a wonderful way to remind us that no matter where we attend on Sunday we are all part of God's Church.

  I have attended Bethel several times and have always felt welcomed.
  The people there are clearly treat each other like family, but a very open and encouraging one that is open to new folks joining in or visiting.
  I am a member of another church in the Community, but I attended Bethel for Christmas Eve services because my Church was not having one at that time (ours had been earlier in the week). The folks at Bethel very friendly, the sermon and music were both great and I walked away feeling the way I always do when I attend there: glad I came.
